Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists,
Today John our resident sour king, is back and he has found another low ABV Sour to sup’. But what will he think of it? Well lets find out!

1. Name : Limone
2. Brewery: Pastore Brewing & Blending (St Leonards On Sea)
3. Aroma : Strong lemon and sour grapefruit notes.
4. Appearance : Opaque pineapple juice with no head.
5. Body : Medium bodied, with good carbonation.
6. Taste : Sharp full citrus flavours of lemon and grapefruit. But, not as intense as I was expecting. it is quite high in acidity, but with a sour thats expected. All in all a good mouth-watering citrusy sour.
Not bad, not bad at all, I was a little sceptical after our previous low ABV sour.. but this one is much better.
The combination of lemon, mandarin and grapefruit puree give it a full sour flavour, and this would be great to drink on a hot summers eve, its even the kind of thing my wife would even add to wine to give it an extra zing.
At 2.5% its not AF but its very good for a low ABV beer.
Our overall rating: 3.3/ 5.0
