Sam is back again with another Collab from New Bristol, but what will he think of this one? Can it live up to the hype of the first?!?..
- Name: Maple Syrup & Pecan Stout
- Brewery: New Bristol Brewery X Pentrich Brew Co
- Hops : Not Specified
- Aroma : Strong coffee and maple scent.
- Appearance : Very dark with a light brown head when poured.
- Body : Medium to Full bodied, smooth and well carbonated with no head retention.
- Taste : Smooth sweet maple with a slight burnt coffee finish, cant detect any pecan though.
we’re now three for three on these Collab stouts, not sure if I should quit whilst I’m ahead! This one is a little weaker than the first New Bristol Collab, but I wouldn’t say no if you offered me another one.
It didn’t quite deliver on what it promised but it was quite moreish and it definitely stuck to your ribs giving you that pleasant warm feeling making it an idea tipple for this time of year.
