Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Today we are looking at an unusual concoction of Lucky Charms + Beer, but will that equal the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or is it not going to be a four leaf clover?..

- Name: Super Nintendo Chalmers
- Brewery: Heist
- Hops : N/A
- Aroma : Lemon grass, and a heavy hit of sweet lactose.
- Appearance : Opaque straw yellow, with a thin white head when pored.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, poor head retention.
- Taste: Quite sickly sweet upfront which morphs to a muddy cereal with a lemon like echo.
This beer it the epitome of Peters favourite phrase, (no not, “Guinness is the best beer you can buy in the supermarket £1 to pint“,) “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should”
I have had a few beers by Heist, and its safe to say that this is not an accurate representation of the quality that they can and have put out in the past. I feel this one got lots in its gimmick, either that or, I really don’t like lucky charms.
I will say this though it gets bonus points for the name, but unfortunately, its not for me, but it could be for you.
Our overall rating: 2.6/ 5.0
