John has recovered from AF month, and is coming out of his corner fighting this American Psycho by Wilde Child.
1. Name : American Psycho
2. Brewery: Wilde Child
3. Hops: Columbus, Chinook & Simcoe
4. Aroma : Well nosed with scents of hop and malt.
5. Appearance : Opaque, medium golden colour with a full white head when poured.
6. Body : Full bodied, well carbonated, with a decent head retention.
7. Taste : Sweet notes running through it to start, followed by a strong bitter hop from the simcoe and chinook creating a nice dry finish.
No real surprises, I find that Wilde Child are great producers of beer, I liked this one, but it was a little too dry a finish for my preferences. Non the less though it deserves a good score and I would recommend anyone who is a fan of West Coats IPA’s to give it a try,
