As its Valentines day, its time to bring out the big guns. So Michaela (Sams wife) is going a guest review today of this love heart sour by Vault City. will it be a hit, or will Sam be ending up in the dog house this valentines?..
- Name: Love Hearts Session Sour
- Brewery: Vault City Brewery, Scotland
- Hops: N/A
- Grain: Barley, Wheat, Oat
- Aroma : Strong scent of sour fruits, and a cheeky underlying sweetness.
- Appearance : An opaque almost crystalline looking pale raspberry pink with an open white head when poured
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, very good head retention.
- Taste: Sour rubharb, with a mix of other red sour fruits, which then turns sweet and with the added carbonation makes a traditional loveheart sweet taste that fizzes in your nose.
This is very drinkable, but very sweet. It seemed to get sweeter the more I drank, but I loved that about it. Sam did well choosing this one for me, and he got me two so that one is in the fridge now for tomorrow!
