Hello, and welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists,
As a stout lover this is one beer that I keep an eye open for. A standard stout, with surprisingly, orange peel added to the brew, which is consistently good.
Mad name and a cracking label what is not to like?

- Name : March of the Penguins
- Brewery: Williams Bros Brewing Co, Alloa, Scotland
- Hops : Not specified
- Grain : Malted barley, malted wheat and oats
- Aroma : Roasted malt, a bit of chocolate and something fruity like dates
- Appearance : Black, but with some light bleed, and a cream/brown head
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonated and with some head retention possibly due to the oats
- Taste : A little roast smokiness to start, then comes chocolate and maltiness. Surprisingly the finish is quite dry
- Dietary restrictions : Allergens highlighted no other claims made
A beer that has never let me down. Easy drinking at 4.9% but includes all the flavours you would expect in a stout plus a little complexity as well.
