Welcome Back to the Eternal Hoptimist.
Todays session IPA was a suggestion from the owner of Sutherlands Bottle shop in Hull. He certainly talked it up, and its won plenty of awards so it must surely this one should be good!
1. Name : Chaff
2. Brewery: FarmYard Brew Co
3. Hops : N/A
4. Grain : Barley, Wheat & Oats
5. Aroma : Tropical fruits, with a slight hop and a hint of grass.
6. Appearance : Opaque pineapple colour with a closed white head when pored
7. Body : Full bodied, well carbonated with a good head retention.
8. Taste : A Very juicy mouthful of citrus and mango which morphed to further stoned fruits finishing with a dash of dry hop.
9. Allergy /Dietary Requirements : Appropriate for Vegans
Definitely one for those who love a juicy IPA, and with that cheeky dry finish it has a little something for everyone. Its well rounded, and no to gassy, easy drinking is certainly the term for this one. I could drink several of these and have them no touch the sides as it where.
Its obvious why it won so many awards of late, including the best in country award at the world beer awards 2022. If you see this one out an about be sure to pick up a can or two, you wont be disapointed.
