Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
John is back on the Wilde Child, and on one of his favourite beer styles. There wasa bit of a scuffle for this one, but we relented in the end and let him take this one!
- Name: Doughp Fiend
- Brewery: Wilde Child
- Aroma: Strong malty and chocolate aroma.
- Appearance: Very dark, with a decent slightly off white head when poured.
- Body: Full bodied, good carbonation with great head retention.
- Taste: A good malty base, wih a wash of lactose and a smidge of chocolate, basically a cookie dough icecream!
- Grain: Malted Barley, Wheat & Oats
Dietry Conditions: Contains lactose
This is definitley a comfort beer, iI know this , because the more I drank the more comfortable I became. It very much delivers what it says on the tin, at 5.5% its a little too high to session. However, I wouldnt let that stop me!
