T|E|H – On Tour – La Palma: The Hotel

Hello, and welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimist!

You may have noticed that Pete has been a little quiet of late, well that’s because he is too busy spending his retirement money having extravagant holidays around the globe!

He’s recently been to La Palma, but as diligent as he is he did a few reviews whilst he was over there!

So lets see what he managed to uncover between the palm trees, football matches, and infamous Dino-marts over seas!

Hello everyone! Last year after a break of six years, which included the Covid restrictions of course, I started travelling abroad again on holiday. So far in 2023 I had a week in Madeira in February, which was hampered by poor weather, where I found a couple of Portuguese stouts (one local, one national). Then bad in April I managed to get away for a lovely week in La Palma in the Canary Islands. Being a solo traveller and considering the remoteness of the hotel from bars and restaurants, I decided to go all-inclusive.

A week of pre-paid beer of dubious quality ahead, could I find other brews to excite the taste buds?

Well this week we will be taking a look at three stops on my overseas adventure, the Hotel, Campo Futbol Adelino Torres, Salinas Marinas de Fuencaliente, The supermarkets & The Bars.

Check out Page 2 for my coverage of the Hotel Beers, the rest will follow along shortly!
