T|E|H: Into The Mild: Elusive Brewing – Microball (3.7% ABV)

Welcome Back to the Eternal Hoptimists.

Welcome back to our final entry for into the mild! May is over so we will be moving on but don’t worry! there might be some more mild’s scattered in there too!

As we have already gone full tilt, so its time for some Microball to finish!

Lets dive right in and see what we thought!

1. Name : Microball , Dark Mild
2. Brewery: Elusive Brewing
3. Hop: N/A
4. Grain :  Barley & Oats
5. Aroma : Sweet almost brioche like scent, with a heavy malt and added sweetness.
6. Appearance : Dark brown/red with a open off-white head when poured.
7. Body : Medium bodied, with good carbonation and ok head retention.
8. Taste : Light Roasted malts, with a good mouthful of Brioche, smooth and easy drinking.

Very traditional style of dark mild, but with a artisanal twist with the brioche, definitely easy drinking, and at 3.7% you could definitely have several.

This is a good example of a modern traditional beer, i hope to see more of these!

Our overall rating: 3.5/ 5.0
