Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Today we are having a look at Full Circles first Foray with the Sultana hop. John was keen to give this one a go, and who are we to stand in his way of a NEIPA.
- Name: Diamond Eyes
- Brewery: Full Circle Brew Co
- Hops : Centennial, Trident,Bravo & Sultana
- Grain: N/A
- Aroma: Strong notes of citrus an lime, with a strong hop backing.
- Appearance: Opaque pineapple colour with a thin closed white head when poured.
- Body: Medium bodied, good carbonation with ok head retention
- Taste: Strong citrus flavours upfront that gives way to a mouth-watering pine needle like hop, giving it a bitter but not dry finish.
Vegan Friendly
To say this is Full Circles first foray with the Sultana hop, its very bright and well balanced, its no baby at that percentage, but it didn’t really come through as harsh at all.
