Who is Oswald Whiteblade?
Oswald Whiteblade ruled the kingdom of Northumberland from 634-642. He was known as the Whiteblade, for his military prowess, He was instrumental in furthering the christian faith throughout the land.
Together with St Aiden, he founded a monastery in 635 on the tidal island of Lindisfarne.
What about the beer?

4. Grain : Malted Barley
5. Aroma : Heavy Malt lead with a citrus follow up.
6. Appearance : Clear Apple juice appearance with a tight white film head when poured.
7. Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated with a Poor head retention.
8. Taste : Very similar to the St Aidan, but with a bit more of punch in the citrus. In short; easy drinking, moreish; traditional.
This is another very good easy drinking traditional ale. This one has a little more flavour than the first despite the slight drop in ABV.
