Sam is on the road again! this time he is in Roosters Tap room, and he stumbled across this 30th Anniversary collab with Green Cheek Beer Co. & Everywhere
This one promises, Juicy fruit flavours with winey notes layered on a pilsner malt base. Lets see if it delivers what it says on the tin!
1. Name : Everything is just Swell
2. Brewery: Roosters Brew Co X Green Cheek Beer CO X Everywhere
3. Aroma : Quite hoppy from he outset, with slight Tropical and winey notes coming through
4. Appearance : Clear gold in colour, with an open white head when poured.
5. Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated with good head retention.
6. Taste : Tropical flavours with a hefty hop base with a touch of grass which lingers and gives it a dry white wine finish.
This one had quite a complex palate for a Pils, it was certainly different, not exactly to my taste. It was nice for a one off, but its not something I personally would drink a lot of, my mother however loved it, I think it was the winey aspect and she gave it a provisional 3.7 but then wouldn’t do a guest review!
