Welcome back to our two week showcase of all things Powder monkey!
Today we are wining and dinning with this BBQ Sizzler, NZ Pale. It’s certainly been hot enough recently, so I could do with a cool refreshing one!
- Name : Sizzler, NZ Pale
- Brewery: Powder Monkey Brewing co, Gosport, Hampshire
- Hops : New Zealand Hops (undisclosed)
- Grain : N/A
- Aroma : Quite winey, with an additional floral scent.
- Appearance : slightly cloudy, orangey gold colour with an open white head when poured.
- Body : Thin to medium bodied, really good carbonation with good head retention.
- Taste : Crisp and very easy drinking, with tones of gooseberries and grapes. Has big dry white wine vibes.
This one is light, and actually quite delicate a flavour, not my usual go to, but i enjoyed it non the less.
I feel this is one Kayla or Sue would rave about.
