Welcome back to our two week showcase of all things Powder Monkey!
John is back on it again, this time he is checking out Powder Monkey’s Brut IPA, Bubbleheads
- Name : Bubbleheads, Brut IPA
- Brewery: Powder Monkey Brewing co, Gosport, Hampshire
- Hops : Cashmere & Amarillo
- Grain : N/A
- Aroma : A very hop forward scent, with some citrus hints.
- Appearance : A very clear Amber colour with a tight white head when poured.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, and good head retention.
- Taste : Very hoppy throughout, a smidge of citrus flavours, very moreish but has a particularly dry finish.
This is a very well balanced IPA, and has quite a lot of a flavour behind it too. Its not super punchy, but its just that level that scratches that itch you cant quite reach.
