John and Sam have been lost to the Knightmare Dungeon, and its up to Kayla to seek them out, With her spellcasting Blue potion in hand, will she be F-L-O-A-T ing through the traps and pitfalls or will she turn into a T-O-A-D!
- Name: Spellcasting Sour
- Brewery: NeonRaptor Brewing Co
- Hops: N/A
- Aroma : Fizzy Haribo sweets, with a hint of cherry.
- Appearance : This one is a sight to behold, its a vivid blue/green in colour similar to that of a radioactive lagoon with a thin blue head when poured.
- Body : Quite thin, low carbonation and with poor head retention.
- Taste : WOW… where to start. It is quite a confusing flavour profile each mouthful was a surprise. It was very very intense on the sour scale to start to the point it was borderline unpleasant. This mellowed as your taste buds adjusted allowing through a strong taste of pink and blue fizzy cola bottles, which was great when you got to it!
Much like the show Knightmare, you have to go through the trials and tribulations in order to get to the reward at the end, only difference is there isn’t a bunch of watchers shouting go Left, Right, & Forward!
As a lover of sours, this one certainly hit the brief of sour, but that beginning was a little too intense for me, hence my lower score. However, I can definitely see a lot of people liking this one.
Certainly more of a trick then a treat this one!
