Northern Monk – Trick or Treat(7.4% ABV)

Hi there fellow beer lovers,

Muwahahahah…. the time has come and the bell has rang, its Halloween night, and the spooks are out for a fright! Trick or Treat what will it be, only time will tell and only Sam will see!

1. Name: Trick or Treat
2. Brewery: Northern Monk
3. Hops: N/A
4. Aroma:  Slight Chocolate & burnt stick toffee pudding
5. Appearance: Pitch black, with a thin tight white head when poured
6. Body:  Medium to full bodied, well carbonated, with ok head retention
7. Taste:  Sweet & Smoky toffee flavours, a hint of chocolate with a twinge of aniseed.

the trick with this one is it sticks to your ribs, not a bad dark beer, but not the best. But it fits the gimmick and delivers a decent flavour throughout. Only manged to get hold of one, and there were several coloured cans… not sure if different beer or brilliant marketing campaign, but wouldn’t mind finding out!
