Sam is back again checking out this interesting Blood Orange AF tipple from Brew by Numbers.
- Name : Blood Orange
- Brewery: Brew by Numbers
- Hops : Citra & Centennial
- Grain : Barley, Maize & Oats
- Aroma : Zest orange notes, with a twist of hops and freshly cut grass.
- Appearance : Cloudy dirty lemon in colour, with a tight white head when poured.
- Body : Thin bodied, high carbonation with a good head retention.
- Taste : Quite a mild orange flavour given the taste, quite medicinal in flavour with a mild hop throughout.
I thought this was going to be the one. I love a good blood orange beer. But alas, this was a little disappointing for me. Its quite medicinal and grassy, and the orange flavour was thin at best. I have definitely had worse, but I’ve had better too.
