Hello, and welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists,

Today Sam is cheking out this AF Lager from Jump/Ship Edinburgh.

  1. Name : Yardarm
  2. Brewery: Jump/ship
  3. Hops : N/A
  4. Grain : N/A
  5. Aroma : Malted hop scent with a hint of barley
  6. Appearance : Golden Lager, with a tight white head when poured.
  7. Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated and good head retention.
  8. Taste : Crisp lager taste with a heavy malty draw finishing with a growing breadiness.

Those who are regular readers will know that I am not a particular fan of lagers. This one however was very nice indeed (for a lager) it had a cracking level of malt, and for a AF beer it certainly didn’t lack flavour.
