It’s Hump day! and what better way to get over it with a cracking can from Pomona Island.
Today Sam will be telling us how he overcame his hump day with a can of Slop?.. surely not!
- Name : Slop – Kick off your Shoes & relax Your Socks
- Brewery: Pomona Island
- Hops : N/A
- Grain : N/A
- Aroma : Strong scent of coffee & chocolate and maybe a hint of molasses.
- Appearance : Very dark and stormy when poured, settled very dark with a tight caramel head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated but poor head retention.
- Taste : Strong dark roasted coffee with a shot of chocolate a hint of tar at the back which left a warming malt taste at the end.
This one had some real wake up juice vibes, it was such a deep and warming coffee flavour it definitely would warm the cockles on a colder night. It certainly gets the okay from me, and at 5% it is very reasonable to have another, only issue is I only had one can!
