Hello, and welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists,
The can says it is unfiltered and unpasteurised for maximum flavour, which I think we can agree is a good think. It goes on to say store upright (obviously) and to pour carefully leaving the natural yeast sediment behind. Good advice, not always easy enough to do in odd shaped bottles, but I stumped to figure out how to do it with a can. Fair to say I poured pretty much the whole can into a pint glass.

- Name : Orbital
- Brewery: Dark Revolution, Salisbury

- Aroma : Citrus fruits but faded quickly
- Appearance : Very pale straw, quite hazy with bits (yeast or hop fragments? ) which gradually sank. Poured with a foamy white head
- Body : Medium bodied, medium carbonated but with a little head retention
- Taste : Soft, delicate and dry. Citrus fruits make way for a lightly bitter finish
- Dietary restrictions : Unfiltered, unpasteurised and suitable for vegans. Allergens highlighted
Perfectly acceptable session pale ale with a nice mouthfeel, smooth on the palate and with some juicy fruitiness. A session pale ale is always going to be a little on the mild and meek side, but I was impressed by the body of this one.
An easy drinking beer with a good taste and an ABV perfect for a session. I could happily sit in the sunshine with a few of these.
