TEH Ale Train 2024 – To Skipton ‘n’ back again a drinkers tale

Station stop Five – Crossflats – Goose Eye Brewery

So We have made it to Goose Eye Brewery, which has a cheeky dog friendly tap room tucked away on a very unassuming mini industrial estate just over the road from Crossflats Station.

I think everyone was a little sceptical at first, but once we got inside I think it really opened some of the groups horizons! But was the beer as good as the venue?

It was at this point we noticed that more trains were being cancelled, so we took the executive decision to skip Bingley and finish our Journey at Salt Brewing.

Station stop Five – Saltaire- Salt Brewery

once we arrived it was the hive of activity which you would expect from a Saturday night, there was hen do’s and Stag do’s galore, so we decided as a group to hang up our review caps and instead proceed to the dancefloor where we encircled our companion Coddy and danced to and sang Abba songs at him until the early hours, because we all know he loves it really.. and his wife gave us permission… m’lord.

I want to just thank everyone who came along for this years Ale Train, and for all the beer supplied by the pubs and our friends at Kirkstall and Goose eye Brewery I (Sam) for one had a blast, and cant wait to do it again!
