Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Whilst I was at the Nottingham Beer festival at the end of June I stumbled across this little gem of a sour, with an interesting name, and I thought this is one for our Summer Sourz segment next month!
I’m not a big sour drinker, but if you get the chance well.. just have a look at my review!

Name: I Thought you was a getaway driver
- Brewery: Firerock
- Aroma : Smells Like a Solero, with extra lashings of apricot.
- Appearance : Cloudy Orange with a pure white head when poured.
- Body : Medium bodied to thin with good level of carbonation and ok head retention.
- Taste : A strong fruity blast of Apricot & Peach rapidly followed by a sour wall of flavour that hits you like a tonne of bricks and your mouth pucker.
Now as you all know I can be quite funny when it comes to sours, these are certainly not my go type of beer.
However despite its intensity, i really liked this one, I’m not sure if it was because I was at a beer festival and feeling the vibe, or the typical British weather we were experiencing taking the edge off, but I didn’t think this one was half bad.
Sam’s overall rating: 3.7/ 5.0
