Today we have a guest reviewer all the way from Peterborough to try out this Vault Dweller Sour from Vault City, that’s right our friend Olivia “Radar” Brazier in town ready and raring to get her hands on this potentially Toxic sour modern beer.
- Name: Vault Dweller
- Brewery: Vault City
- Appearance : Looks like weak lemon squash in colour, no head and no visible carbonation.
- Aroma: Fresh zingy lemon, with a burnt undertone.
- Body : Thin bodied but an added syrupiness
- Taste : Bright lemon was upfront with a sugary sherbet middle and then an almost burnt sour lemon sorbet towards the end
would be amazing mixed with a slushie, I’m a real fan of the strong lemon flavours, the burnt smell is a bit odd but it doesn’t really take away from the taste. Really solid combo of flavours but after a pint it does become a tad sickly.
