We may have got to the point where the waterproofs are not longer well… water proof, but despite being wet we are all certainly still merry. We made it back to the train with five minutes to spare, just enough time to divvy out the train beers we acquired from Brew York earlier!.




Name: Time Travelling Taxi
- Brewery: Brew York
- Appearance : Cloudy, pale yellow with two fingers of creamy, white head.
- Aroma: Strong Pineapple & citrus, with a hoppy backing.
- Body : Medium body, light carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, good level of acidity curls the tongue.
- Taste : Yellow grapefruit, lemon pith & dusty yeast. Long, dry finish
Sam’s overall rating: 4.0/ 5.0
This one is a excellent thirst quencher, its Sharp & refreshing. I found that the Dry hopping adds an unusual, slightly sour-tasting bitterness too.
One I would definitely have again.





Name: Big Eagle
- Brewery: Brew York
- Appearance : Light golden colour with a tight white head.
- Aroma: A strong Hoppy nose with a slight twist of light citrus.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated with good head retention
- Taste : Strong bitter mouthful of hops, well balances, and has the slightest hint of citrus toward the end.

Name: Lupu Lion American Pale Ale
- Brewery: Brew York
- Appearance : Golden, cloudy with a white head
- Aroma: Citrus, hoppy with a touch of wet cut grass
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonated.
- Taste : Fruit to the fore, juicy with an initial sweetness and then a slightly bitter finish and dry lingering aftertaste.
