Hello and welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Have not seen many UK rye beers in recent times so this one really caught the eye on a trawl of the web shop.

- Name : Red Rock Session Rye IPA
- Brewery: Roosters Brewing Co, Harrogate
- Hops : Columbus, Crystal and Simcoe
- Grain : Malted barley (Red Rye Crystal Malt), rye and wheat
- Aroma : A hint of citrus and some resin
- Appearance : Amber, clear with a white head
- Body : Medium bodied, medium carbonated with a little head retention
- Taste : A touch of citrus to start followed by a little malt. The finish is dry and bitter with a touch of peppery spice and a tang to the aftertaste
- Dietary restrictions : Allergens highlighted and vegan friendly
If you love your beer bitter, then this is one for you because it certainly delivers there. There is also a nice spicy pep to lift it out of the mundane.
The ABV is low enough to make this a session IPA and I would be happy to drink this one all night.
