A beer style we don’t see too often, this one is produced specially for Beer52. Originating from Sweden, it is fair to say that it has the geographic pedigree if nothing else, but I have high hopes for it.
Baltic porters should be cold-lagered, cool-fermented and brewed with lager yeast, this means it should be a little different to the UK style porter.

Rich, with some complexity to the malts in the flavour profile. As expected, owning so much of its heritage to lager, there was a crispness to the flavour.
Nice ABV, though some are stronger, and a good alcohol warmth seeping through, it could almost be a winter warmer.
Rather nice, one to try if you can.
