Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Stuart is on tasting duty with Vibrant Forest’s English Bitter (4.0% ABV), a classic session able pint that’s all about traditional flavour. According to him, it’s exactly the sort of beer that would sit perfectly alongside a hearty plate of pie and peas!

Name: English Bitter (4.0% ABV)
- Brewery: Vibrant Forest
- Aroma : Sweet hoppy smell on the nose.
- Appearance : Dark amber with a strong white open head when poured.
- Body : Medium bodied, good level of carbonation with good head retention.
- Taste : Surprisingly deep malty taste with a wash of fruitiness to finish.
This was a prime example of an excellent traditional bitter, it didn’t lack flavour and at 4% is a sensible tipple. Plus as a bonus, I think It would go brilliantly with some pie and peas.
Our overall rating: 4.3/ 5.0
