Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are looking at a real bobby ‘Dassler’ by the Wishbone brewery
As I am sure you know by now, Wishbone Brewery was established in 2014, and is situated but a stone’s throw away from the well-established Timothy Taylors Brewery in Keighley. It’s owner, a true Yorkshireman, is a no nonsense bloke, and he strives to make no nonsense beer. So far we have had a look at Pixie Juice, Tiller Pin, & Rubus Idaeus and next up is the Dassler!

- Name : Dassler (4.2%)
- Brewery: Wishbone Brewery
- Description : NX Helles Larger, Motueka
- Aroma : Crisp, sweet smelling malt with a hint of citrus fruit
- Appearance : A Clear amber nectar in colour with a thin close white head
- Body : Medium and well carbonated, (an exceptional amount of fizz)
- Taste : Hoppy to the taste with a almost marmalade like tang that crosses the tongue at the finish
Again this one is a larger and as I said in the Rubus Idaeus review largers are not really my thing. However, this is my favourite of the two. I really enjoyed the hoppy notes and found the beer to be very refreshing. This is a beer that I would happily have again.
Should you want to have a taste for yourself you can buy this on Wishbone Brewery’s online store
