Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we have another ALDI special courtesy of Peter, this time in the form of William Bro’s Cherry Baby… Yea…..
- Name : Cherry Baby
- Brewery: Williams Bros Brewing Co
- Aroma : Strong scent of bitter galce cherry
- Appearance : Clear golden with a thin tight white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated poor head retention.
- Taste : Strong taste of sickly sweet cherry, followed by a subtle weak hopped lager taste and a honey like sweet aftertaste.
Now I’ve said this a lot, we at the Eternal Hoptimists, are not lager drinkers. But this.. this, is somehow even worse than usual. Now it’s not often I come across a tipple that I can’t finish, but this one was one of them. If you like lager, and you like sickly sweet WKD’s then this might be the one for you, but in my case it will be staying on the shelf at Lidl.
