Another beer from the Liverpool brewery Love Lane which is in the Baltic Triangle district of the city.
This is a traditional style Baltic Porter which means lager yeast is used and as cold fermented and cold lagered to produce a smooth beer.
Once again there is excellent information on the label including detailed ingredients and tasting notes.

- Hops : Pahto, Simcoe and Cascade
- Grain : Golden Promise, Vienna, Munich, Melanoidin and Carafa malts, wheat and oats
- Aroma : Not strong aromas but hints of coffee/mocha and some fruitiness
- Appearance : Black, appeared clear and produced a cream/brown head
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonation and some head retention
- Taste : Mainly coffee with some dark chocolate and a dried fruit sweetness to the finish finish
A lovely smooth porter that ticks all the right boxes. Will definitely be drinking this again.
