Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Today we are taking a closer look at another another beer from our Beer52 experiment.
In a market dominated by IPAs and American pale ales from the east or the west coast it is sometimes nice to have a straightforward old fashioned pale ale. This one is from a craft brewery in Croatia and the label boasts double gold medal at the European Beer Challenge 2020 in London.

- Name : Pale ale
- Brewery: Varionica Craft Brewery, brewed by Mrazek d.o.o., Pisarovina, Croatia
- Hops : ‘American varieties’ but otherwise not specified. Additional dry hopping
- Grain : Barley malt
- Aroma : Light, fruit and hoppy aroma
- Appearance : Amber, slightly hazy with a white head
- Body : Full bodied, medium carbonation with decent head retention
- Taste : Dry and hoppy makes way for some fruitiness and a slightly bitter finish
A nice old style pale ale which is lifted by the dry hopping.
Our overall rating: 3.6/ 5.0
