Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists.
Today John is back looking at another tipple by Goose Island, this time its their flagship Midway.
- Name: Midway
- Brewery: Goose Island
- Aroma :
- Appearance : Clear, pale golden amber in colour with a thin white film head
- Body : Light bodied, well carbonated, medium head retention.
- Taste : Punchy grapefruit citrus notes, that sweetens and then mellow to a slight hop.
This is a Light IPA, which is a perfect strength for a session, but it is a little on the sweet side for myself. I can see why this is popular though, and I can imagine watching this at an outdoor football screening or at a BBQ in the sun.
