Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to the Eternal Hoptimists!
Today we are revisiting one of our favourite microbreweries in Hull, Bricknell Brewery. If you would like to have a look at our interview with them last year please feel free to check that out here. But today we are having a look at their Anchor IPA.
.

- Name : Anchor IPA
- Brewery: Bricknell Brewery
- Aroma : Strong malty notes with a hint of hop
- Appearance : Clear, pale gold in colour with a nice fluffy white head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, and great head retention.
- Taste : Strong malty draw with a cheeky hoppy dry kick towards the finish.
This is a cracking session ale at 4.5% I made a grave error of sharing this with my wife and now she has coveted all bottles of this moving forward, so I will be lucky to get to touch it ever again! But I will sneak out to Peters or Sam’s for some more if necessary believe me!
our overall rating: 3.7/ 5.0

I agree I love this pale ale, more please x.
