Welcome back to the eternal Hoptimists.
Today I am taking a break from Collabs and I am looking at this New Zealand IPA by Round Corner Brewing.
- Name: Long Clouds
- Brewery: Round Corner Brewing
- Aroma : Strong hoppy and floral notes.
- Appearance : Clear amber with a closed fluffy head.
- Body : Medium bodied, well carbonated, good head retention
- Taste : This one is a little unusual, with the hop combo its almost lemon-grassy which is then followed by a very slight hint of spice.
This one was a little unusual, It was floral, grassy and citrusy all at the same time. However despite its complicated flavour pallet, but it worked well and was not at all overpowering.
With a punchy 6.5% its quite dangerous as flavour disguises the potency but it wouldn’t stop me from picking up… one more, ok maybe two.
