Merakai X Vault City – How Berry refreshing (6.5% ABV)

1. Hops :  N/A
2. Grain :  N/A
3. Aroma : Sour red berries and a sugary sherbet
4. Appearance :  An opaque purple-pink with vanilla flecks and a white head when pored
5. Body :  Thick, very smoothie like, with good carbonation but no head retention.
6. Taste : Sour berry refresher smoothie, packed with flavour and punch, the vanilla balanced it out a bit and with the sherbet took the sour edge off ready for the next mouthful.

This one was definitely “refresher sweet” . Merakai usually deliver amazing sours and Gose beers and this one is no different, sure they had a little help from Vaults but this was definitely identifiable as a Merakai creation. best dour of 2023?.. maybe!

*note we had this in a can as they had sold out of it on tap! wonder why!
