Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Welcome back to Into The Mild, where we continue our mission of giving this classic beer style the attention it deserves. This time, we found one out in the wild, at a beer festival no less!
There’s always something a bit special about spotting a Mild amongst a sea of hazy pales and big stouts.

Name: Mild
- Brewery: Lunebrew
- Aroma : Strong caramel notes with a malty backing
- Appearance : Chestnut brown in colour with a good closed white head when poured.
- Body : Medium bodied, with a good level of carbonation and impeccable head retention.
- Taste : Deep malty flavours with a touch of almost Rye-like tang with a caramel smack to finish it off.
I found this to have a very deep and morish flavour, at 4.2% its a little more punchy than the mild’s of the past, but its certainly not to big to session, and I’m already queueing to get another!
Our overall rating: 3.7/ 5.0
