Hi there fellow beer lovers,
Maryensztadt ( no I cant pronounce that) Craft Brewery are one of Poland’s better-known modern craft breweries, they have been brewing since 2015 and building a reputation for creative beers that balance traditional styles with more experimental ideas.
Experimental I certainly the word for this one, Stu physically recoiled when I handed it to him, but did he regret taking it off my hands?
Name: Smoothie Beer, sweet Summer crumble
- Brewery: Naryensztadt Craft Brewery
- Aroma : This smelt like a frangipane, sweet pastry and lots of stoned fruit, very sweet on the nose.
- Appearance : Cloudy slightly off-washed peach colour, no head
- Body : Smoothie thick, no carbonation, felt like you could eat this with a spoon. quite velvety on the tongue.
- Taste : This was super sweet and had packs and packs of flavour. it wasn’t sour at all, in fact it was bloody delicious, tastes like a pudding your Gran would give you on a sunday afternoon.
Hands down the best sour I’ve ever had. I am not a sour drinker, and when Sam gave me this one to review I thought he was having a laugh. but it just goes to show, if you don’t try, you will never know.
I was gutted that he only had one of them, definitely a brewery i will keep my eyes open for in the future.
