Funky Fluid – Gelato Ice Cream Sour, Banana, Mango, & Coconut Lassi (5.5% ABV)

If you’ve spent any time reading our reviews, you’ll know that when it comes to beer, We do often cover a lot of tart, fruity, sours that are often just a little bit ridiculous around this time of year.

So when we spotted Funky Fluid’s Gelato Banana, Mango & Coconut Lassi (5.5% ABV), we knew that this is one that Kayla would love to cover.

Name: Gelato, Banana, Mango, & Coconut Lassi (5.5% ABV)

1. Brewery: Funky Fluid
2. Aroma : Mango & Vanilla ice cream scent, very sweet.
3. Appearance : Opaque golden colour, with a very white thin closed head when poured.
4. Body : Medium bodied, very creamy which emphasises the thickness. Low level of carbonation with moderate astringency.
5. Taste : Surprisingly close to a real Mago Lassi, deep mango tones with a sour undertone and very decadent and creamy.

Sour fruity mango & creamy coconut make for a very tasty “Beer”. It definitely has the Mango Lassi vibe down, and its a mild sour so not super intense which means you could definitely have more than one quite easily.
