Right then, this one’s a bit of a “what on earth have they done here?” situationand I mean that in the most affectionate way possible.
Kayla’s stood there looking at it like it’s either going to change her life or mildly rearrange her expectations of reality.
I mean “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend?” so why not 24K Golden Carrot Goses?
Name: 24K Bling, Imperial Mandarin & Carrot Gose (8.2% ABV)
- Brewery: Vault City x 3 Sons Brewing Co
- Aroma : Spiced sour carrots and orange?
- Appearance : Thick opaque violent orange somewhere between Trumps skin colour and American Fanta, it had a orange / pumpkin coloured head when poured.
- Body : Thick and soupy, very very astringent.
- Taste : Very tart and Sour, it certainly makes your mouth pucker. Carrot flavour comes through in waves and finished with a faint mandarin aftertaste
This one is certainly an assault on the senses. Very sour, and quite heavily salted. A little too intense for me, but I got through it. Sam basically yelped when he tried it, its certainly not for him!
As I drank I became slightly enamoured with the aftertaste more so than its astringent punch. Not sure I would have another one, but as a one off event.. it was certainly eventful!
